Common questions
Frequently asked questions
How quickly can you come out?
For urgent leaks and storm damage we prioritise same-day or next-day visits wherever possible. For standard quotes we typically respond within 48 hours and arrange a survey at a time that suits you.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. All of our quotes are completely free and come with no obligation. We'll assess the work, explain exactly what's needed, and give you a firm written price.
Do you require a deposit?
No. We don't ask for deposits or up-front payments — you pay on completion, once you're happy with the work.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry £2M public liability insurance on every job, so you and your property are fully covered while we work.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed in writing — up to 20 years on qualifying work such as new roofs and flat roofing systems.
How do I know if my roof needs repairing or replacing?
As a rough guide: isolated damage (a few slipped tiles, a small leak, worn flashing) usually only needs a repair. Widespread wear, repeated leaks, or a roof over 20–25 years old may be more cost-effective to replace. We'll always give you an honest assessment — we won't push a replacement if a repair will do the job.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Hutton Henry, Hartlepool and cover the whole of the North East — including Hartlepool, Durham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Gateshead, Middlesbrough and everywhere in between, across a 50-mile radius.
Do you handle emergency roof repairs?
Yes. If you have an active leak or storm damage, call us straight away and we'll do our best to get someone out the same day to make your roof safe and watertight.
Do you do flat roofing, fascias and guttering?
Yes — alongside pitched roof repairs and replacements we install and repair flat roofs (felt, EPDM rubber and GRP fibreglass), plus fascias, soffits, guttering and chimney work.
Will you clean up after the job?
Absolutely. We remove all waste and leave your property tidy — it's part of the job, not an extra.
